    The major differences between Denilson and Alonso’ passing are pace and range. Alonso hits sharp passes at great speed and his long passing is far superior. Denilson’s passing is slow and lacks disguise.

    • True, but I think it’s also interesting to note Denilson’s passing in the 2008-09 season, when, in the place of Cesc Fabregas, there was more forward passing from him, and it was good passing too.
      It makes me think that perhaps Wenger has told Denilson to not play the ball forward.
